Today, imagesbazaar.com boasts India's largest collection of images & videos. Founded by Sandeep Maheshwari, who is a brand in his own right today. They wanted a platform that could enable them to easily sell photos online. Defining categories, managing search terms, creating variations of search terms (images tagged as women should be referred to as girls, ladies, females) and delivering images in different sizes for B2B purchases.
What were our challenges?
Our first collaboration with Imagesbazaar.com occurred in 2006. We were contacted about a sluggish search that was costing them business. At the time, the database size was not large, and they had a small collection, but the design of the database was limiting their growth.Business priorities included improving search speed and developing other value-added features.
The solutions that we offered
We completely redesigned the solution and ensured that the website search results were returned within 7 seconds. There are more than 1 million images and videos available online at Imagesbazaar, making it the world's largest collection of Indian images and videos.We help them achieve the same by automating delivery and watermarking images through our technology platform.
